hortly after Thorvi was born, her father Thorgil established a trading post in Iceland and moved the family there. Her mother died on the voyage over before she had any memory of her. Life went on fairly peacefully until the Althing voted Iceland Christian, when they moved to the less... organised realm of Scotia. Her father was killed in a minor scuffle, one of the penalties of less organisation, and she is currently sheltering in the protected household of Brighthelm.
