About Gytha Haideesdottir...

Gytha is the only surviving child of a Baltic amber trader. When her parents died she continued the business, travelling extensively. Somewhere along the way she met Richard the Rampant and they settled in Brighthelm. Mundanely Gytha is interested in cross-stitch, costume making, tablet weaving, cooking, paganism, herbal lore and having fun.

Gytha died early in the morning on Wednsday 24 May, at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, after a short battle with cancer. Her funeral was held on Wednesday 31 May at Kirkcaldy Crematorium.
